As One Campaign Update

Our As One Campaign has been a tremendous success. When we embarked on As One, an important goal was to retire the debt we had accumulated through the building of the MAC, the Greenwood campus launch, and the acquisition of contiguous properties to our Melrose Campus.  This debt totaled approximately $1.4 million and was a necessary means to an end: bringing more people to a life of faith at Broadway United Methodist.  With commitments now in excess of 1.5 million dollars, I am pleased that we have exceeded the amount needed to retire our debt.  Currently our monthly payment on the debt is approximately $11,000.  This will amount to a yearly savings of $132,000 that can be used for ministry!

On Sunday, April 25th our First Fruits offering had reached over $274,000!

The pictures below are of Michelle McGahan delivering the supplies to Bowling Green Jr. and Sr. Highs.  Through the generosity of our members over 200 students at these schools will be helped.

Youth Services

Community Mission Project

Youth Services serves the academically at-risk students of Bowling Green High School and Junior High. They help minimize or eliminate non-cognitive barriers to learning so students are able to succeed in school.  They are similar to our local elementary schools’ Family Resource Centers in that they provide non-educational resources to students like clothing, hygiene products and food.

Broadway United Methodist Church, as part of the As One Campaign, will be collecting and donating the items below to this much needed community service.

You can make a difference in the life of a student by helping with this mission project.
